Job Responsibilities Works with an enterprise information security team to solution-architect, test, deploy and maintain cyber security systems. Leads detecting and assessing technology threats and availability incidents and determines their impact on Wawanesa's business operations, employees, or facilities. Performs investigation and escalation for complex or high-severity technical threats or incidents. Defines and drives operational and tactical initiatives. Proactively identifies and leads implementation of products and tools to ensure security of our infrastructure and applications, collaborating with all areas of technology to harden our environment. Contributes to the planning of application and infrastructure vitality. Conducts technical health assessments of security technologies. Performs system maintenance activities across multiple environments/technologies. Creates and maintains documentation to support systems within area of responsibility. Participates in researching and evaluating information-security-related hardware and software. Contributes to solution design using the existing technology portfolio. Configures security systems, analyzes security requirements, and recommends improvements. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 7 years related IT experience within an enterprise environment; previous information security experience is an asset. Hands-on experience supporting, maintaining and deploying cyber security technology such as CrowdStrike, CTI platforms, Tenable, Digital Guardian and automation/orchestration platforms. Experience creating dashboards and reports using Grafana, Power BI, Python, and PowerShell scripting. Track record of supporting AWS and Azure cloud environments. Proven skills in architecting and deploying multi-platform and multi-cloud solutions. Strong working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. Strong working knowledge of network protocols including IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, DNS, IPSEC and SSL. Broad knowledge of technologies such as Web Servers, Application Servers, Virtualization, Cloud Infrastructure, and Automation/Integration technologies. Ability to participate in on-call rotation. Ability to coach team members and communicate clearly and persuasively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Experience with Identity & Access Management, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, Firewalls, Cryptography, Endpoint Security, MFA, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, and Data Loss Prevention is an asset. Cyber security certifications (CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CISM, CRISC) are considered an asset.
