Reporting dually to both the senior investment advisor and the general manager, the successful candidate will play a significant role in providing financial advice and assistance to clients, while strengthening the overall presence of StellerVista MoneyWorks in the communities it serves. The incumbent will be self-motivated, and results driven, working a flexible schedule and meeting clients/members needs on their timelines. Travel is required. Responsibilities Provide financial advice and assistance to clients and members. Strengthen the overall presence of StellerVista MoneyWorks in the communities it serves. Work a flexible schedule and travel to meet clients needs on their timelines. Report to both the senior investment advisor and the general manager. Qualifications Results-oriented professional with a commitment to furthering the organizations reputation in the community. Positive, adaptable approach with strong relationship-building skills and interpersonal perceptiveness. Dedicated to a holistic planning approach when working with members. Minimum of five years experience in providing holistic financial advice (financial planning, investment, risk assessment and insurance options) preferred. Holder or near completion of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Licensed to sell securities as well as life insurance within BC. Post-secondary designation preferred. You will have a loyal book of households to start with and build from to create a successful book/practice. Compensation We are pleased to offer a competitive compensation package including but not limited to participation in extended benefits and pension programs. Current Annual Salary Range: $74,000 - $80,000 Annual salary commensurate to education and experience. Location Preferred job location: Cranbrook, B.C.
