Job Description

Overview FP&A Manager Americas role at GHD is to join the Group Finance team and drive and coordinate FP&A activities across the Americas region. Reporting to the Enterprise Head of Planning & Analysis and partnering with the Americas CFO, the FP&A Manager Americas plays a critical role in driving the financial performance and strategic direction of the Americas business. You will deliver clear, forward-looking financial insights and strategic recommendations that enable informed decision-making aligned with the companys objectives. Pivotal to this role is overseeing the budgeting and forecasting processes, analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and ensure that all financial plans are robust and adaptable. Critical to being successful in this role you will be able to translate and communicate complex data into clear, compelling insights and recommendations. Responsibilities Drive the delivery of monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual management insights and presentations for the Americas Leadership Team Articulate complex financial matters into clear, actionable insights and communicate them effectively to drive strategic conversations with Executives and stakeholders. Analyze industry, economic, financial, and market trends, delivering quarterly macroeconomic overviews and recommendations that inform Americas strategy and planning. Lead the Americas budgeting and forecasting processes, leveraging automation, data, and best practice approaches to deliver robust, timely plans. Ensure the Americas reporting framework aligns Champion continuous improvement and finance transformation initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance reporting, and drive greater efficiency and value. Coach and develop team members and peers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing FP&A culture that supports growth and capability building. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree required in a related field. Master's degree a plus. Professional accounting qualifications equivalent to CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred. Experience: 10 plus years in a similar role with proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis in a complex, matrixed, or multinational organisation. Demonstrated experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes at regional or business unit level. Strong capability in financial modelling, scenario planning, and translating analysis into actionable insights and recommendations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences. Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial systems; experience with ERP and BI tools (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Power BI) highly regarded. Solid understanding of key financial and commercial concepts, industry drivers, and macroeconomic trends relevant to the Americas region.
