Overview Who you are: A self-starting Client Service Officer who wants to join our Calgary office full-time. Customer service is your priority, and you have excellent communication skills. You have a knack for accuracy and detail and a willingness to pivot and problem-solve. You must work well in a team-oriented environment and showcase your strengths. It is never a dull moment around here! Seniority level: Entry level. Employment type: Full-time. Hours of Work: 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. (4 days at the office, 1 day at home). Responsibilities Working within the Client Relations team on various projects, as assigned Preparation of payout and information statements as requested by lawyers and clients Ensure accurate and timely processing of payout and paydown funds Serve as a liaison between lawyers and borrowers to facilitate smooth transactions and maintain professional relationships with clients Manage borrower requests on home equity lines of credit, including reviewing loan history, coordinating with relevant departments, and issuing monthly statements Perform AML-related activities to ensure compliance Regularly review and update procedures to align with best practices and regulatory requirements Audit transactions to ensure accuracy, identifying and addressing any discrepancies General administrative duties such as data entry, document production, and learning across other mortgage servicing roles, all while ensuring regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering standards are met Skills and Qualifications Proficiency in MS Office (mainly Word and Excel) High attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent time management skills Excellent ability to communicate with a high level of integrity and professionalism Exceptionally organized with a great ability to multitask Possess a high level of initiative to produce accurate work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Fluent in verbal and written English Mortgage Agent License in AB, BC, or ON is an asset Benefits Extended health care, disability and life insurance RRSP match Team-oriented, collaborative atmosphere Company social events and volunteering opportunities Applications In your cover letter, please include: Why you want this role, what makes you a rockstar candidate, and how you plan to impress us within your first month.
