Rsum du poste / Job Summary Sous la responsabilit du chef du contrle de la qualit, l'inspecteur de la qualit des marchandises reues est charg de garantir la qualit et la conformit des pices mcaniques reues, principalement fabriques en aluminium, en plastique, en caoutchouc, en polycarbonate et en acier inoxydable, comportant des soudures, des trous tarauds, des trous de dgagement, des congs et d'autres dtails complexes. Il s'agit d'effectuer des inspections dtailles l'aide de divers outils d'inspection et de respecter les normes et spcifications tablies. En outre, l'inspecteur s'occupera des oprations de rception dans le systme ERP et effectuera des tches d'entrept. Job Summary (English): Reporting to the Quality Control Lead, the Received Goods Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of received mechanical parts, primarily made from aluminum, plastics, rubbers, polycarbonate, and stainless steel, featuring welds, tapped holes, clearance holes, fillets, and other intricate details. This role involves performing detailed inspections using various inspection tools and adhering to established standards and specifications. Additionally, the inspector will handle receiving operations within the ERP system and perform warehouse duties. Inspecteur de la qualit certifi, ASQC, CQE) est vivement souhaite. Exprience confirme dans l'inspection de pices mcaniques ou dans un domaine connexe. Utilisation d'instruments de mesure de prcision et interprtation de dessins techniques indispensables. Grand souci du dtail et capacit tenir des registres prcis. Comptences informatiques de base, y compris matrise des systmes ERP et de Microsoft Office. Capacit soulever jusqu' 15 livres et se dplacer dans l'installation. Excellentes aptitudes en communication et travail d'quipe. Exprience pralable de l'usinage conventionnel ou CNC souhaitable. Exprience des mthodes d'essais non destructifs (END/NDT) est un atout. Connaissance de GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) est un atout. We are looking for a Received Goods Quality Inspector with the following skills: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification (e.g., Certified Quality Inspector, ASQC, CQE) is highly desirable. Proven experience in mechanical parts inspection or a related field. Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and interpreting engineering drawings a must. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and traverse the production facility as needed. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Prior conventional or CNC machining experience is desirable. Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods is preferred. Knowledge of GD&T is preferred. Responsabilits gnrales / General Responsibilities Inspection des pices / Parts Inspection Inspect mechanical parts, including tapped holes, clearance holes, overall dimensions, OD, ID, fillet radii, hole centre-to-centre distances, and other features, to ensure compliance with mechanical engineering drawings. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges to measure dimensions and record data. Interpret and apply engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams to determine inspection and test procedures. Document inspection findings, prepare reports, and mark items for acceptance or rejection based on inspection results. Inspect bought-in off-the-shelf items (motors, pneumatic cylinders, electrical components, etc.) to verify OEM specifications match the parts received. Oprations De Rception / Receiving Operations Perform receiving operations within the ERP system, ensuring accurate data entry and tracking of received parts. Verify the quantity and condition of received parts against purchase orders and packing slips. Coordinate with internal procurement to resolve any discrepancies or quality issues. Tches Lies L'entrept / Warehouse Duties Assist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse, ensuring parts are stored correctly, organized, and easily accessible. Perform inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels. Contrle de la qualit / Quality Control Collaborate with the Quality Control team to identify and address recurring issues with received parts. Collect inspected parts quality control data for analysis. Recommend improvements to inspection processes and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency.
