We currently have an opening for a full-time permanent Production and Conversion Controller. Reporting to the Airworthiness Manager, the Production and Conversion Controller is an integral member of the Airworthiness Team, focusing primarily on modification projects, programs and conversions. In this role your duties will include the following: Creation and organization of modification visit packages and Production work orders Creation, allocation and distribution of work tasks based on review of engineering drawing packages and Production input Liaise between Engineering, Production Team and Supply Chain with relation to Drawing changes and how current/future stock is affected Update and maintain bill of material and evaluation for method of manufacture Parts and materials research, working closely with Engineers, Purchasers, Stores and Production staff Material demand entry and follow up Provide internal and external customer updates on project milestones and timelines Identifying opportunities for process improvements within their responsibilities and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and quality Other related duties as assigned We are looking for someone with: Naturally organized and methodical, with a focus on efficiency Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes Sound knowledge of supply chain processes Ability to work effectively with Office 365 programs Strong technical communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral Committed team player with the ability to focus on deliverables Training/Education: Minimum 3 years of logistics planning, and program planning Engineering experience, or project management Working in an aviation environment preferred Working knowledge and experience with a materials or enterprise resource planning system required Project management training or experience an asset Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (Canadian citizenship or permanent residency) 1510 Tower St, Abbotsford, BC V2T 6H5, Canada #J-18808-Ljbffr
