Job Description

Our client, a national distributor serving building supply retailers and industrial accounts, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our sales and marketing efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys customer interaction, and has a knack for organization and communication. Key Responsibilities Sales Support: Respond to inbound inquiries and provide product recommendations and cross-sell opportunities. Prepare and follow up on quotes, orders, and customer requests. Make outbound sales calls and send targeted emails to generate sales growth and strengthen client relationships. Maintain customer records and assist with account management and the sales team. Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery. Work with purchasing to help identify inventory demands related to new business sales forecasts. Marketing Coordination: Assist in developing promotional materials, product flyers, and digital assets. Manage and grow social media presence across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.). Update and maintain website content, including product listings and news. Coordinate email marketing campaigns and newsletters. Support trade show planning, booth setup, and promotional giveaways. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategy. Track marketing performance metrics and report actionable insights. Collaborate with vendors and partners on co-branded promotions. Assist in developing promotional materials and campaigns. Manage social media accounts and digital content updates. Support trade show planning and execution. Track marketing performance metrics and report insights. Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with the sales team and clients. Provide product education and support for customer and sales inquiries. Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer service (preferably in building supply sectors). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be creative and open to new ideas and resources. Able to quickly adapt and learn in any environment and market conditions. Tech savvy with basic graphic design experience. Understand where AI can step in to support business growth. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
