The Faculty of Nursing is comprised of four departments that collectively offer the Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and the Bridge to Canadian Nursing, as well as other continuing education credentials and learning experiences. Applications are invited for sessional nursing instructors with clinical experience in all areas of clinical practice with urgent needs in medical-surgical, mental health and perioperative nursing, starting in Fall 2025. You will have a minimum of a baccalaureate degree in nursing or psychiatric nursing and unencumbered active licensure with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA), and/or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA). Candidates will have a minimum of three years of recent clinical experience in an applicable clinical area. Travel is required. Applicants are required to adhere to clinical and University placement policies and guidelines, as well as meet the Requisite Skills and Abilities of the applicable nursing profession. Successful candidates will demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching, a student-centered approach to learning, and a strong understanding of applied nursing practice.
