Overview Make an impact with our Accounting team as a Senior Administrator, Partner Accounting. Responsibilities Maintain project schedules to complete updates of Partner related records Set up, maintain, and make updates to Partner information in applicable Finance systems Directly support EFT payments and T5013 processes Prepare monthly journal entries and general account reviews Provide coding, reconciliation, and communication of Partner capital accounts and draws Develop internal relationships to understand and be aware of factors that affect Partner related records Liaise and work closely with Human Capital, Executive Administration, and our Firm Tax team on Partner changes Assist in post-merger reviews and reconciliations Perform ad-hoc reporting and special projects as required Skills and Experience 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in an accounts payable, payroll, or accounting role Thorough understanding of accounting concepts Critical thinking skills, with the ability to see the broader impacts on financial accounting and tax Ability to use knowledge and experience to recommend a course of action Proficient with Microsoft Excel, and experienced in working with various accounting systems Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to manage internal and external relationships Any of the following would be considered an asset: A professional designation Experience working in a Professional Services environment Bilingual with the ability to speak and write in French and English Rewards and Diversity With a focus on high-potential earnings, MNP offers customized rewards that support our unique culture and a balanced lifestyle.
