Positions to be filled : 1 Information you must provide In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications) EDUCATION : A secondary school diploma (High School) AND completion of an acceptable training program in electronics technology or the employer-approved alternative. An acceptable training program is defined as, at minimum, a two year program, through a recognized post-secondary institution, in the field of electronics technology. The employerapproved alternative is defined as completion of an electronics engineering technician program followed by a minimum of five (5) years of on-the-job technical training and experience in informatics, repairs and installation of modems, landlines, Navigational, Communication, Radars and / or Sonar equipment OR having achieved the Canadian Forces developmental period (DP) 2 in the field of communication, radar, sonar, or navigational systems. EXPERIENCE : EX1 : Experience in performing maintenance and installations of navigational, sensors or communication systems. EX2 : Experience in the delivery of life cycle management of marine or land electronic equipment and systems used for navigation, communications and informatics. EX3 : Experience providing advice, guidance or recommendations to supervisors, co-workers and clients regarding marine or land electronic equipment and systems used for navigation, communications and informatics. EX4 : Experience participating in the development of technical and or logistic support solutions to correct defects in systems and equipment or deficiencies in maintenance and repair practices.
