Intermediate Process Engineer Pioneer Engineering Inc. Key Skills: Perform process simulations using Aspen HYSYS, Flare System, EDR. Develop line sizing, PSV sizing, and process data sheets for equipment & instruments. Assemble detailed design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, Line Lists, Control Narratives, and SDKs. Coordinate design work and projects with other disciplines in a team setting. Provide problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Adaptability to various situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Produce technically accurate project deliverables within budget and schedule. Maintain close working relationships with the project team and other discipline groups. Manage multiple projects independently. Assist engineering leads and managers. Attention to detail with the ability to self-check and produce accurate deliverables. Strong oral and written communication skills. Education & Qualifications: Degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering or related field (preferred). Minimum three (3) years experience in upstream Oil and Gas production facilities in Western Canada. APEGA registration. Experience in natural gas processing (sweet and sour), including separation, compression, dehydration, refrigeration, and sweetening. Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulatory requirements: ASME, ANSI, B31.3, CSA Z662, ABSA Pressure Piping Registration, API 520, API 2000, etc. Understanding of AER and BCER regulatory processes is an asset. Construction, commissioning, and operations experience is an asset. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with clients and vendors. Legal right to work in Canada.
