Overview Pricing Analyst role at Applied Industrial Technologies - Canada. This role can be fully remote, on-site, or hybrid. Location is flexible for anywhere Applied operates in Canada; preference is near a major service centre. Responsibilities Proactively work with Applieds Canadian Pricing Team, Chargeback Team, Strategic Account team (SA), Branch Service Center (SC), Field Sales/Operations and Corporate Operations teams to support revenue and margin growth plans. Lead or assist in pricing activities including pricing and margin analysis, gross margin enhancement, rebate analysis, and related tasks. Assist with onboarding and implementing digital/portal accounts with the Digital Order Desk Team and Field. Lead/support efforts to normalize and identify products in Strategic Account client RFP data files and repricing exercises. Provide input to improve and automate Applieds Client RFP processes. Collaborate with SAMs/BDMs/field personnel to establish Pricing and supplier Chargebacks for each Client RFP. Input all required data into SAP in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure correct landed, rebated costs, gross margins or markups, and price levels for all primary/alternative suppliers in each RFP. Enhance product knowledge in Bearing & Power Transmission (BPT) and Fluid Power & Industrial Maintenance Supply areas. Support tools and processes that improve quotation and pricing activities. Communicate with clients to support accurate SA client RFP responses. Other activities to support business needs as required. Train and mentor other team members as required. Expected Results / Outcomes Meet all customer RFP requirements and expectations. Meet all re-price requirements and expectations. Manage the process with timely responses. Participate in meetings with related teams and complete action items in a timely manner. Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure terms are supported and adhered to. Assist in liaising with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing information and documentation. Maintain matrices to ensure accurate costing, CB calculations and price structure maintenance. Document pricing and structure changes related to SA Agreements. Analyze situations, gather data, and provide clear recommendations as needed. Required Technical Skills, Knowledge and Competencies Strong data manipulation and normalization skills. Excellent communicator and negotiator. Proactive, confident and ethical with integrity. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation in spreadsheets and databases). Fundamental understanding of pricing structures and strategies. Ability to set priorities, organize diverse responsibilities, and meet deadlines. Positive, team-oriented attitude; strategic thinker with strong business analytics. Industry knowledge in wholesale or distribution; able to work independently; leadership within the group. Attention to detail and accuracy. Required Experience and Education Experience interacting with clients and suppliers in a professional manner. 5 or more years of industry experience is an asset.
