Overview Crown Attorney (Open Until Filled) Government of Manitoba, Manitoba Prosecution Service, Crown Law. Location: Dauphin, Manitoba. Salary: LF1-3 $94,944.00 - $190,530.00 per year. This position is regular/full-time with (2) positions available. Closing Date: November 10, 2025. Advertisement Number: 44184. Responsibilities Provide prosecutorial services regarding matters arising under the Criminal Code of Canada and provincial statutes in provincial and superior courts. Instruct police with respect to charges and investigations and review police reports. Give legal opinions and participate in legal education in the areas of criminal law and procedure on behalf of Manitoba Prosecution Service. Qualifications Essential: Advocacy experience in the practice of law Superior oral and written communication skills Superior interpersonal skills and analytical ability Effective case management and strong organizational skills with the ability to meet short deadlines Ability to work independently and in a team environment Resilience and adaptability under pressure Desired: Prosecutions or Criminal Law experience Requirements & Duties Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and eligible for immediate membership (in good standing) with the Law Society of Manitoba Possess a valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver's License Enhanced Security Screening; satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check & Child Abuse Registry Check Evening and weekend work as required; travel by road including overnight stays What We Offer We provide a collaborative, progressive work environment with opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and exposure to a wide variety of cases.
