Intermediate Actuarial Analyst Weu2019re looking for an Intermediate Actuarial Analyst to join our dynamic Claims Analytics team. In this role, you wonu2019t just analyze data - youu2019ll apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to build powerful solutions that directly impact our claims processes. This is an exciting opportunity to translate complex data into actionable insights and help shape the future of our business. Youu2019ll collaborate with a diverse group of junior and senior Actuarial Analysts, Data Scientists, and Claims professionals. Your work will directly support various strategic goals, giving you a broad range of experience. What Youu2019ll Do Be a Data Expert: Take ownership of our data. Youu2019ll process data using SQL and Python with minimal assistance and use your expertise to find meaningful insights. Build Machine Learning Models: Design and build machine learning models to solve a variety of claims-related problems. Youll be encouraged to think about the bigger picture and how your models fit into our overall strategy. Uncover Trends and Insights: Provide detailed statistical analysis to identify trends and anomalies in claims data. Youu2019ll build and maintain visualizations in Power BI to share your findings and support the business. Research and Innovate: Youu2019ll be a key driver of innovation, proactively researching new methods for data analysis, model building, and visualization to uncover actionable insights. What Youu2019ll Need to Succeed Education & Exams: You have an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Data Science. Completion of CAS preliminary exams (1-4, including VEEs and all modules) is preferred but not required. Experience: You have 2-4 years of experience in a relevant role at a Property & Casualty insurance company. Technical Skills: You are proficient in Python, SQL, and Power BI . Core Competencies: You have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other team members.
