The role is located at 90 Gough Rd, Markham, ON L3R 5V5, Canada. Responsibilities Be the primary interface for customers and work with your team to ensure customers are properly set up and welcomed. Respond to customer requests in a timely manner to answer questions and resolve issues; liaise between customers and labs, Technical Sales Managers and other functions as needed. Identify new opportunities with existing customers and ensure new leads are routed to the Sales function. Support the unique needs of each customer to grow the business. Assist in onboarding and welcoming processes for assigned accounts; ensure accurate account setup in CRM/LIMS/ECN/myMXNS and other critical systems. Answer customer inquiries by phone and email; communicate requirements and coordinate projects with internal departments (Customer Care, Sales, Lab operations). Review Certificates of Analysis (COA) and invoices with customers to verify tests and reporting formats meet requests; resolve billing issues and communicate test results when delayed or out-of-specification. Document all customer interactions in the CRM; identify cross-sell opportunities and other intelligence for new opportunities with existing customers. Qualify incoming leads and ensure transfer to the correct Technical Sales Manager (TSM). Provide support to Sales teams and other CCR team members, including customer visits or backup support as needed. Maintain customer information in databases (LIMS and CRM) and participate in annual training to maintain knowledge of tools and SOPs. Support corporate quality and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the department. Perform other related duties as needed. Qualifications General knowledge of food testing methods or scientific processes; degree in Chemistry (preferred), Microbiology, Food Science, or direct relevant laboratory experience is preferred. Three or more years of experience in customer service in the food or beverage industry. Laboratory experience in Chemistry is desirable; BS/BA or equivalent work experience considered. Clear understanding of Chemistry testing methods and ability to communicate testing methods and results to clients. General knowledge of LIMS and CRM software; strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) required. Interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships within the organization and with external clients. Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to multitask, prioritize, follow up, and maintain attention to detail.
