As part of an alliance agreement, Aecon has been awarded a contract in an Aecon-led partnership with Kiewit Nuclear Canada by Ontario Power Generation (OPG) for the execution phase on the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP) in Clarington, Ontario. Beginning in 2025 Aecon will support the Construction of the Unit 1 Small Modular Reactor at the Darlington site. What Youll Do Here Responsible for training coordination and qualification maintenance for new and existing project employees Responsible to ensure training is completed for all contractor staff and documented to meet legislated internal and client requirements Ensures all site access security and administrative requirements are met for new hires Coordinates with site supervision and union business agents to satisfy labour requisitions Facilitates project specific training needs assessment Ensures training records are kept up to date in client and project Learning Management Software Maintains electronic filing system for training material using SharePoint Provides support to the Trainers, as required Interfaces with client to ensure that training demand is identified and supported where not provided by Aecon Other duties as required What You Bring To The Team Minimum 2 years related experience or in-office environment Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team Organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task / service oriented Thrive on a fast paced-environment Training system software experience is considered an asset Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in teams Ability to plan, manage, and prioritize multiple, concurrent assignments and tasks Ability to consistently meet deadlines Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment Strong sense of urgency and accountability Commitment to Diversity, Accessibility and Inclusion We strongly encourage applicants who identify as Indigenous to apply to work with us on the Darlington New Nuclear Project.
