About The Development Program The NOFRILLS Franchise Academy is a full-time, immersive experience that combines operational training, leadership development, and strategic project work. Through this program, you will: Gain hands-on experience in high-performing NOFRILLS locations nationally Receive mentorship from experienced Franchise Owners Lead operational projects and contribute to banner-wide initiatives Develop a deep understanding of the NOFRILLS business model Build meaningful connections across our national store network Upon successful completion, candidates will be eligible to apply for franchise opportunities and join a network of over 150+ successful Academy graduates who now operate their own NOFRILLS stores. Youll thrive in this role if you have the following: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive leadership experience in the grocery and/or retail sector A strong understanding of store operations, merchandising, and financial performance (P&L, budgeting, shrink, labour management) Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in unionized or non-union environments Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial drive Commitment to community engagement and values-driven leadership Flexibility to travel across Canada during the program Willingness to relocate (provincially or nationally) for franchise opportunities upon training completion Program Requirements: Ability to participate in a national, full-time program Flexibility to support special projects and travel as needed Readiness to relocate for franchise opportunities Successful completion of a background check is required Personal investment of $50,000 readily available Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion NOFRILLS is committed to building an inclusive environment for all.
