Job Description

DEPARTMENT: ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT POSITION LOCATION: OWEN SOUND UNION AFFILIATION: NON-UNION STATUS: FULL-TIME The Manager, Organizational Development is responsible for leading and supervising a team who are accountable for the design, development and delivery of learning, engagement and talent development solutions for staff that align with the corporations strategic direction and priorities. This position will oversee the work to design, assess, develop and deliver competency-based leadership and succession development programs. This position actively works to lead, promote and support a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion within its workforce. Qualifications Required Post-secondary education in a relevant field of study that may include but is not limited to: organizational development, human resources, healthcare operations. Minimum of 5 years of experience in progressively responsible roles related to organizational development, training, change management, human resources or healthcare operations Previous leadership experience within a unionized public sector employer Experience designing and developing training/learning development professional development programs and/or course (in-person and online) to meet an organizations priorities Strong knowledge and demonstrated applied understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion concepts Knowledge of the employee engagement principles and strategies with demonstrated experience conducting/interpreting needs assessment and/or employee engagement surveys Certification in Change Management is an asset Highly developed interpersonal, presentation and communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities and remands in a rapidly changing environment Ability to prioritize and manage time and resources Effective problem-solving, decision-making and organizational skills Ability to travel throughout Grey Bruce Available for regular assignment of Hospital Administrator On-Call Responsibilities (assigned on a rotating basis to cover evenings and weekends) Recent satisfactory performance and attendance records Adherence to Brightshores CARE Behaviours (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Excellence) and LEAD Competencies (Lead by example, Empower, Achieve results, Develop others) and a commitment to a safe workplace free of violence and harassment Advocates and supports a culture of patient safety and demonstrates an understanding of how the department service and assigned responsibilities contribute to overall patient safety at Brightshores through patient safety knowledge, skills and attitudes #J-18808-Ljbffr
