Hartmann Canada Inc, in Brantford, Ontario is a division of Hartmann North America. We are the world leader of moulded fibre egg cartons. The demand for moulded fibre and environmentally sustainable products is rapidly increasing. Hartmann has committed and invested in this area to meet the growing demand of our products. We require the skills of an Electrician, Nights to join our talented Maintenance team, who will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all the building and equipment as required. Position Requirements 8 hour Night Shift (11pm-7am, Sunday-Thursday) New hires may rotate between days & nights for training Duties Install machinery and equipment according to electrical code and circuit drawing using hand and power tools; Perform all rebuild work (welders/electrical components) in a timely manner; Interface with operator displays (HMI/Panelview) and monitors to determine solutions to machine problems Read and interpret circuit drawings to identify failed components and troubleshoot safety circuits; Carry out routine machine checking with adjustments to ensure optimum operation of production equipment; Support operations in emergency situations and through major shutdowns; Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives; Maintain a current license for skyjack/tow motor/zoom boom as applied Ideal Licensed Industrial Electrician with a minimum of 5 years experience working in a Manufacturing Environment; Ability to read & interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and specifications in order to provide troubleshooting and repair services; Mechanical Aptitude and willingness to assist in all maintenance projects as required; Excellent communication skills to interact with the team, customers and suppliers about operational matters.
