Tasks As the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer/ Agente SST & Environnement , you will perform the following duties: Lead by example at all times, providing open, honest, and direct feedback to employees Promote Safety, Security, and Environmental awareness across both sites, driving a Safety First culture Ensure all applicable regulations (CNESST, OSHA, Alberta OHS, ISO 14000 & 45001) and Lufthansa Group policies are met Lead or support incident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions implemented Implement and support the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) at both stations Attend quarterly safety meetings with airline customers, representing Lufthansa Technik Canada on safety matters Support the implementation of new Safety and Environmental tools and processes, ensuring effective rollout and engagement * Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Quality Manager Requirements To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications: Post-secondary in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is required English and French (written and verbal) are essential Min. 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE/SHE) roles, ideally supporting multi-site operations Familiarity with ISO 14000 and 45001 or equivalent Safety Management Systems Experience in the aviation or aerospace industry, with familiarity with associated safety standards and regulatory frameworks Willingness to travel frequently between sites in Canada and, occasionally, abroad as required by Lufthansa Group operations Must possess a legal work permit in Canada * CV/Resume and Cover Letter required * Company may provide relocation assistance About Lufthansa Technik Canada, Inc.
