Manager, Agribusiness Financing Solutions Hybrid Job number: 27911 Category: Senior Professional Status: Permanent Type of Contract: Permanent Schedule: Full-Time Application deadline: 15-Aug-2025 Area(s) of interest: Advisory services, Commercial banking A career as a Manager, Agribusiness Financing Solutions within the Commercial and Private Banking 1859 team involves working closely with Commercial Account Managers and internal and external partners as a credit expert. This role allows you to positively impact colleagues and clients through your knowledge of commercial financing. Your Role: Conduct high-quality credit analyses according to Credit Centre standards and provide recommendations. Structure credit requests by mitigating risks and developing financing scenarios that meet client needs and align with the Banks risk criteria. Collaborate with the Commercial Account Manager to identify client financing needs. Negotiate credit terms and conditions with the Credit Centre and confirm financing availability with the Commercial Account Manager. Prepare documents and update client files in collaboration with account officers and the Credit Centre. Act as a credit resource within the team and support the development of team members competencies. Identify sector-specific risks. Your Team: You will be part of a team supporting commercial clients within the Commercial & Private Banking 1859 sector, surrounded by experts to help deliver optimal solutions. The role reports to the Director and is based in Quebec. Our training programs, grounded in hands-on learning, will help you master your role. Requirements: Bachelors degree with six years of relevant experience, or Masters degree with four years of relevant experience, or University certificate with eight years of relevant experience. Other requirements include understanding Quebec's agricultural sector, negotiation skills, experience in commercial credit and financial statement analysis, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
