Job Responsibilities Install power supply wiring and conduit for machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, programmable controllers, relay logic, etc. Connect power supply to machinery and equipment, and interface wiring between machinery and equipment Diagnose apparatus such as transformers, motors, and light fixtures; replace damaged wiring and fixtures Test malfunctioning machinery and discuss issues with management for solutions Replace faulty electrical components like relays, switches, motors, and sensors Diagnose and repair electronic components, including printed circuit boards Plan wiring layouts and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components Maintain and troubleshoot presses Work safely, adhering to company policies and procedures Work overtime and assist as needed based on customer demands Keep work area clean and organized, and communicate issues to supervisors Modify work hours and shifts on short notice as required Qualifications Industrial Trade certification as Industrial Electrician and/or PLC certification Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in manufacturing PLC programming experience Ability to create, manipulate, and follow robot programs for ABB, Fanuc, Panasonic Mig, Stick, and Tig welding skills Physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs Desirable Additional Qualifications Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics Robot programming certifications (ABB, Fanuc, Panasonic) Experience with Labview Robot troubleshooting experience Overhead crane and forklift licenses Tier 1 automotive manufacturing experience Main Tasks & Responsibilities Install power wiring and conduit for machines and robots Connect power and interface wiring Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic components Plan wiring layouts and install wiring and apparatus Maintain and troubleshoot machinery, including presses Adhere to safety policies and procedures Work overtime and assist as needed, with flexible hours Additional Information Magna is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity.
