Position: Account Executive at Paladin Technologies. Responsibilities Identify client security requirements and effectively communicate the companys applicable services and products to meet those requirements Prepare proposals, RFPs, and assist with bid proposals that identify and distinguish the features/benefits of the company, meet gross profit margins, and operational requirements Develop and implement a proactive methodology for follow-up communication and proposal generation of all prospects Maintain proactive ongoing relationships with clients to determine satisfaction, assist with future needs, solicit referrals, and assist in resolving collections of past due accounts Assist in selling Service Contracts to existing clients and second-year Service Contracts for system upgrades/replacements Solicit equipment upgrades, replacement projects, and/or company promotions for existing clients Present final contract to client for signature and ensure requirements such as deposits, taxes, invoicing information, and project information are complete Complete sales orders, scope, plans, and other project documentation timely, in accordance with company procedures and applicable contract requirements Work with Project Managers to implement timely and profitable installations that meet client and company expectations Provide project oversight by maintaining close communications with Project Managers regarding project status, unresolved issues, change orders, and close-out requirements Articulate the company values, mission, and strategy to achieve Trusted Business Partner status General Accountabilities Represent the company professionally to maximize client satisfaction Maintain knowledge of current industry standards and emerging technologies; attend manufacturer and technology education as necessary Interface proactively with colleagues to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve profit and cash flow goals Communicate and respond in a timely manner to client and company needs or inquiries Work in compliance with company policies and safety procedures Participate in industry and networking functions aligned with company values and goals Provide activity reports as requested by management Available to work outside of normal business hours when needed Maintain and protect assigned company assets Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales role Strong connections within the city and market familiarity Preferred Qualifications Minimum 1 year security industry experience Continuing education valued technical, Associates, Bachelors degree or security industry certifications Professional Competencies Results-oriented networking and prospecting Excellent written and verbal skills in one-on-one and large group situations Excellent interpersonal skills including client and employee relations Ability to organize workload for effective implementation Ability to multi-task under deadlines and time constraints Proficient in standard business software (Microsoft Office, Outlook, OneNote, Visio) Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures Ability to function as an effective team member in a collaborative sales environment Adaptability as the external environment and organization evolve Physical Demands Must be able to communicate effectively (see, hear, speak, write clearly) to interact with employees and/or customers; manual dexterity for frequent reaching and handling of small objects Working Conditions Office environment with average noise levels; travel may be required Job Information Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Sales and Business Development Industries: Wireless Services, Telecommunications, and Communications Equipment Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
