They have a portfolio of working with high end clients and are actively looking to add an experienced Carpenter to their dynamic team! Responsibilities Manufacture and assemble high-quality custom architectural elements and structures Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to understand project specifications Operate all woodworking machinery, finishing equipment and hand and power tools Work with different materials including solid surfaces, epoxy, metals, melamine, solid wood and wood products Perform exact measurements ensuring precise installation of hardware and other elements Plan and execute fabrication strategies; oversee and manage junior fabricators and assistants Manage schedules to meet deadlines and provide consistent, regular project updates to management Maintain a clean and tidy work area and facilitate required repairs and maintenance to all equipment Other duties as assigned Qualifications Training from a relevant program such as woodworking, millwork, carpentry or cabinetmaking Must possess prior experience as a lead-hand or senior fabricator Possess a strong attention to detail and amazing problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings Must possess an in-depth understanding of fabrication processes and manufacturing/building materials Prior experience working with materials such as wood, solid surfaces, fabric, acrylic, glass or leather #J-18808-Ljbffr
