This role also leads the Sleeman social media strategy and execution, while driving continuous improvement in social media processes across the National Brand team. This is a hybrid work model with 2 days per week minimum in office. Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Brand Leadership Develop the strategy and lead the execution of key advertising or national activities for the Sleeman Brand including National Sponsorship. Development of 3-year brand strategies and plans for National Promotion and Specialty Portfolio initiatives. Occasionally lead special projects for the assigned brands. Marketing Program Development & Execution Develop and support the execution of advertising or national activities such as promotions, product introductions, marketing activities, product development, public relation programs, packaging development, POS. Collaborate with all Trade Marketing Managers and Brand Activity Managers in the development and execution of promotions and events. Sets guidelines and ensures trade execution is consistently aligned with brand standards. Monitors competitive brands advertising and promotional activities. Digital & Social Media Management Lead the social media getting better plan nationally including process, tools, reporting and industry trends. Independently leads Sleeman social media strategy, planning and content execution via leadership of social media and Public Relations / Influencer Agencies. Monitor, maintain and refresh social media content and websites. Performance Analysis & Reporting Leads monthly Brand performance update to Director and VP and supports brand performance analysis through all stages of commercial planning and program analysis. Budget Management & Compliance Execute activities within budgets, on time and with excellence. Track and manage budget. Maintain compliance with all Canadian advertising law, standards, and liquor board regulations. Internal Communication & Continuous Improvement Populate and maintain brand information and programs on the intranet in a timely fashion. Recommend and implement continuous improvement and MUDA reduction practices. Provide support on miscellaneous marketing projects from time to time on an as needed basis. Requirements Post-secondary education in marketing or related business field Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role within a consumer-packaged goods environment Beverage alcohol industry experience considered an asset Experience managing digital and social media programs is required Proven ability to work effectively on multiple cross-functional teams Financial acumen and accountability for financial results Excellent project management and organization skills Excellent communications skills. Responsabilits Planification stratgique et gestion de la marque laborer et grer lexcution des activits mdia et des activits nationales cls pour la marque Sleeman, y compris les commandites nationales; laborer des plans et des stratgies de marque triennaux pour les initiatives de promotion nationales et le portefeuille de spcialits; Diriger, loccasion, des projets spciaux pour les marques assignes. laboration et mise en uvre du programme de marketing laborer et grer lexcution des activits mdia et des activits nationales telles que promotions, lancements de produits, activits marketing, dveloppement de produits, programmes de relations publiques, dveloppement demballage, PLV; Travailler en collaboration avec les directeurs et directrices dactivation marketing et les directeurs et directrices des activits de marque pour laborer et excuter les promotions et vnements; Dfinir des lignes directrices et veiller ce que l'excution des activits sur le terrain soient toujours conforme aux normes de la marque; Surveiller les activits de la concurrence en matire dactivits promotionnelles et mdia. Gestion des mdias sociaux et numriques Mener le plan devenir meilleur en matire de rseaux sociaux, y compris le processus, les outils, les comptes rendus et les tendances de l'industrie; Mener de faon autonome la stratgie, la planification et lexcution de contenu pour les mdias sociaux Sleeman avec laide des gestionnaires des rseaux sociaux et des agences de relations publiques/influenceurs; Rviser, mettre jour et actualiser le contenu des mdias sociaux et des sites web. Analyse de performances et comptes rendus Communiquer mensuellement au directeur(-trice) et vice-prsident(e) la performance de la marque et participer lanalyse de la performance de la marque toutes les tapes de la planification commerciale et de lanalyse des programmes. Gestion du budget et conformit Assurer lexcellence de lexcution des activits et le respect du budget et des dlais; Surveiller et grer le budget; Sassurer de la conformit avec toutes les lois et normes canadiennes en matire de publicit et les rglements des rgies des alcools; Communication interne et amlioration continue Alimenter et tenir jour les informations et programmes relatifs aux marques sur lintranet et ce, dans les dlais appropris; Recommander et mettre en uvre des pratiques damlioration continue et de rduction MUDA; Fournir, loccasion et selon les besoins, un soutien pour lexcution de divers projets marketing. Exigences: tudes postsecondaires en marketing ou dans un domaine connexe Au moins 5 ans dexprience au sein dun poste connexe dans le domaine des biens de consommation courante; De lexprience dans lindustrie des boissons alcoolises serait considre comme un atout; De lexprience de la gestion de programmes de mdias sociaux et numriques est exige; Capacit avre travailler efficacement au sein de plusieurs quipes inter fonctionnelles; Sens aigu des finances et capacit rendre compte des rsultats financiers Excellentes aptitudes pour la gestion de projet et excellent sens de lorganisation; Excellentes capacits de communication; Solides comptences informatiques, y compris la capacit utiliser Excel, Word, PowerPoint et Outlook; Bilinguisme (franais et anglais) serait considr comme un atout; Think you have what we need, but your credentials dont perfectly line up?
