Responsibilities Develop firm understanding of all committed project deliverables, delivery timelines, and scope of work. Develop detailed critical path schedules that align with Client master schedule or Parklanes committed delivery timelines. Update and communicate schedule as needed to control project risk and provide customer transparency. Scheduling to be completed using Microsoft Project. Develop firm understanding of bid project budget (in collaboration with sales department). Work closely with Parklanes Engineering, Production, and Procurement team to ensure budgets are adhered to or improved upon. Coordinate site visits with clients as required. This may require international travel. Coordinate the necessary shop drawings submittals with Parklanes engineering team. Ensure drawings are aligned with bid deliverable. Troubleshoot onsite challenges during all phases of the project. Read and analyze customer architectural/mechanical drawings, and equipment/system shop drawings to better understand technical deliverables. Coordinate all subcontractors and project vendors. Ensure compliance with their purchase order terms and Parklanes/clients Health and Safety requirements. Coordinate all onsite activity as needed (e.g., cranes, traffic closures, permits). Maintain a strong connection between engineering and manufacturing. Ensure client relationships are managed throughout the course of the project. Identify and respectfully communicate change notices as they arise. Negotiate all final change orders. Provide financial project summaries to Engineering Operations Manager on a monthly basis. Ensure all project invoicing is completed based on progress payment agreements and schedules. Maintain prompt and consistent communication with all customers throughout the entire project delivery. Identify scope expansion opportunities on active projects where Parklane may be able to deliver greater value to the client. Qualifications Bachelor of Applied Science or Engineering an asset. Minimum 3-5 years engineering and/or relevant construction experience in Ontario. Outstanding organizational, communication, and technical skills, and attention to detail. Desire to succeed in a dynamic, progressive organization. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project). Proficiency with AutoDesk Suite an asset (Inventor, AutoCAD, NavisWorks, Revit). Familiar with noise and vibration measurement methods and standards an asset. A proven ability to analyze data, write reports, provide quality control and assurance and present results to clients. Comfort with business development initiatives, networking, and client interaction. Project Management Professional Certification considered an asset. Proven experience in working successfully in a team environment. Working Conditions Frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. Use hands to operate computer and various measuring devices. Able to climb stairs and service ladders. Drive to visit client sites. Work in both the office and remote environment. Must be able to travel internationally.
