The role involves managing Indigenous engagement efforts, maintaining databases, preparing reports, and guiding community outreach and talent development strategies. The manager will oversee the Indigenous Training and Development Program and ensure compliance with the Indigenous Participation Plan (IPP). Responsibilities Design and implement diversity and community programs. Lead Indigenous engagement initiatives for LVCTS. Maintain Indigenous-owned companies database. Prepare reports on Indigenous benefits metrics. Advise leadership on outreach, recruitment, and retention strategies. Develop strategies for Indigenous talent development. Present progress reports to senior management. Serve as Subject Matter Expert on Indigenous relations. Oversee and report on Indigenous Training and Development Plan. Requirements At least 7 years in a similar role with complex business environments. Experience working with First Nations and Indigenous organizations. Cultural awareness and sensitivity. Ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent communication and relationship management skills. Experience with Canadian DND projects' IPP is an asset. Proficiency in English; French is an asset. The successful candidate must pass a criminal background check and obtain security clearances.
