Overview Stores Keeper Location: Peterborough, ON Position Summary Protrans Personnel Services Inc. is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Storeroom Keeper to join the team of onsite professionals as a 3rd party integrator at a customer site in Peterborough, ON. Being a customer-facing role, the ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and will assist the team with various duties relating to Storeroom management and small parcel receiving and distribution. Responsibilities Deliver outstanding customer service to strengthen client relationships. Accept and verify incoming products, performing quality inspections to ensure goods meet standards. (Small parcel receiving) Place products in the correct storage locations throughout plant and keep the storeroom clean and organized. Track and count inventory, recording stock levels and reporting discrepancies or damaged items. Print Barcodes and RFID labels and put away product for incoming goods. Assist with onsite vending program for Point of Use production and Maintenance items. Support the Motion Team Leader with procurement activities, such as coordinating with suppliers, tracking purchase orders and ensuring timely replenishment of stock. Carry out additional duties as assigned to support site operations. Qualifications & Experience Experience as a Company Storekeeper, Buyer, or similar role. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes. Excellent verbal and written skills with a positive workplace attitude. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Attention to detail. Physical Requirements Must be able to move items weighing up to 100 lbs. and lift up to 50 lbs. Additional Details Will report to Onsite Team Leader.
