Overview Coulson Aviation is a global aerial firefighting company that operates in Canada, the USA, Australia, and Chile. Coulson Aviation operates with a fleet of large aerial firefighting aircraft consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, enabling rapid aerial fire suppression, including initial attack and extended attack protocols. Coulson Aviation is part of the Coulson Group of companies. We are a financially stable and growing organization that has been in business for 65 years. Due to our growth and expanding footprint, we are looking to add to our team and hire a videographer & social media content creator. Position: Videographer & Social Media Content Creator Location: Port Alberni, BC Responsibilities Photograph, film, edit, and produce videos and photos for distribution on social media platforms, including the use of graphics, music/audio, and effects. Direct, develop, and conduct on-screen interviews with employees and other subject matter experts. Apply knowledge of the company direction, goals, culture, and stakeholder perspectives to pitch ideas and create original content. Review and organize pre-existing raw footage for use. Other duties as assigned. Requirements 5+ years of experience in the professional/semi-professional video industry. Solid working knowledge of social media platforms such as TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. Strong filming and editing skills. Knowledge of Photoshop and photography. Knowledge of motion graphics. Creatively driven and passionate about producing top work. Positive attitude, high energy, and strong interpersonal skills. Self-starter with the ability to work with no supervision. Highly organized with a keen eye for detail. Living in, or willing to relocate to, Port Alberni, BC. Must have a valid passport and no travel restrictions. Benefits $75K - $85K per year, depending on experience. Employer-paid extended health benefits, and access to a 5% matching pension plan.
