Quality Assurance Compliance Lead (Contract) Overview As a Compliance Lead , you will be responsible for ensuring Site Quality Programs comply with all company policies and procedures and all customer, GFSI and regulatory requirements. Also serves as the SQF Practitioner for their sites. This role is a temporary 6 month contract with a standard 37.5 hour work week, supporting both our Clark Brampton, ON facility & Rivermede Concord, ON facility. What You Will Get To Do Owner of all Compliance Programs including, but not limited to: HACCP, SQF, CAPA, Food Defense, Calibration, Traceability Plan, implement, execute, and maintain all aspects of these programs with a continuous improvement mindset to enhance the Site Quality Systems Implement corporate policies at the site level Serve as SQF Practitioner Ensure sites are prepared for Internal, MDLZ, GFSI, Regulatory and Customer audits Serve as Site Lead for all quality audits and regulatory visits Serve as CAPA Lead for all NCs identified during quality audits and regulatory visits Assure compliance with FDA/CFIA food laws Develop and deploy training on Food Safety & Quality Management aligned with Corporate Quality, GFSI requirements and corporate policies to maintain or exceed target audit scores Ensure training for the food safety team and for operators that monitor critical points Recipe For Success Completion of a Bachelors degree in Quality Assurance, Food Science, Biology, Engineering, Microbiology, Operations Management or a related field 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance Technical knowledge of quality and food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Technical knowledge of Food Manufacturing processes, Sanitation and Microbiology Experience dealing with regulatory agencies (i.e. CFIA, FDA) Submitting and implementing corrective/preventive actions plans Proficient with Office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams Strong interpersonal and influencing skills Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with Plant Quality and Operations colleagues Excellent oral and written communication skills Able to document findings and data clearly, concisely, and accurately Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Well organized and self-motivated, able to work well independently and in cross-functional teams Action driven Strong knowledge of GFSI, HACCP, Preventive Controls and Quality Systems Statistical processes and problem solving techniques What We Offer Competitive benefits and a focus on work-life balance Learning and growth opportunities; an environment that encourages sharing ideas, experimentation, and learning from each other Supportive culture emphasizing diversity, quality, direct communication, and respect EEO / Accommodation Give and Go is an equal employment opportunity employer.
