Responsibilities: Prepare quotations, review customer profiles and rate structures. Support sales department with customer information, rates, etc. Visit customers whenever required to improve communication and service. Monitor proper filing and updating of all departmental records, i.e., tariffs, placing bookings, SI, etc. Negotiate and manage contracts with carriers and providers, as required, to enable cost-effective transportation services. Assist the manager with daily issues. Job Requirements: College degree in a related field / CIFFA CERTIFICATE or equivalent is an asset. Experience in Freight Forwarding or Shipping industry is a big plus. Experience in dealing with customer service. Advanced knowledge of computer literacy, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
