Overview BCs largest Insurance Broker is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Commercial Insurance professional to join our team to help manage an established core book of first-generation accounts, along with exciting new business opportunitiesincluding multi-national, cross-border, and diverse types of business and coverage lines. Responsibilities Manage and service a portfolio of large commercial insurance accounts Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and insurance markets Demonstrate strong technical insurance knowledge of coverage and provide expert guidance on complex commercial insurance coverage; respond to sophisticated coverage inquiries Deliver exceptional customer experience to internal and external customers; liaise with Client, Account Executive/Account Manager and Markets Follow Hub Service Guidelines and support Account Executive/Account Manager and Marketer with servicing commercial accounts Act as primary Customer Service Contact in absence of Account Executive or Account Manager Respond to customer requests, submit information to insurance companies, and bind coverage where appropriate Participate in formal account reviews and Critical Path meetings; provide value-added services and follow up on action items Collect data, create expert submissions and rate sheets, identify coverage gaps, negotiate with underwriters, present best programs, and bind coverage Prepare proposals, customer correspondence, certificates, and invoices; prepare cover notes on marketed accounts Process all documentation according to Hub workflows (Certificates of Insurance, Cover notes, Summaries and Proposals, New Business, Renewals, Endorsements, Premium Finance contracts, Invoicing) Attach documentation into EPIC; manage client instructions and communications with the marketing team Assist Account Executive/Account Manager with managing and collecting Accounts Receivable Review and manage Account Reconciliation with the Accounting Team Coach and mentor new team members; prioritize tasks daily and maintain accurate electronic files across systems Continue professional development to enhance skills; participate in CE-related training to maintain licensure; obtain licenses in other provinces/territories as required Protect HUB from E&O; perform other duties as assigned A Day in the Life Execute servicing activities for a portfolio of large commercial accounts Develop and sustain strong client and market relationships Utilize technical insurance knowledge to advise on complex coverage and respond to inquiries Deliver exceptional service and collaborate with internal teams and markets Adhere to Hub Service Guidelines and support team efforts in marketing/broking Provide coverage submissions, data collection, and documentation in EPIC; prepare and present recommendations Coordinate with Account Executives/Managers on billing, reconciliation, and task prioritization Mentor teammates and ensure accuracy of electronic and physical files What We Offer Competitive compensation: Base salary + industry-leading commission structure Company matching RRSP contributions Tuition financing and career-related training and development Customizable flexible benefits options for you and your family Mental and physical wellness initiatives A positive, collaborative, team-oriented environment Ongoing personal and career development Salary range for this position is typically between $60,000 and $90,000 and will be influenced by skills, experience, location, and business line.
