We are currently seeking an energetic, customer-focused Yard Staff-Loader Operator (Part-Time) based in Toronto, Ontario. Individual compensation packages depend on factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and other relevant reasons. What We Offer Base salary plus paid overtime Catered meals during auction times Responsibilities Hold and maintain a valid, clean drivers license Climb on, off, and under large equipment and trucks Work outdoors year-round, regardless of weather conditions Work overtime, including weekends, at onsite and offsite auction sales, especially 2-3 weeks prior, during, and 1-2 weeks after each sale Travel as needed to other auction sites within the region Operate various types of heavy equipment and trucks Assist in setting up equipment in the yard for auctions Help customers load their equipment purchases and answer related questions Qualifications Experience operating heavy machinery Ability to operate a large 36,000 lbs forklift (asset) Proficiency in spoken and written English Good computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly Proven safety record and ability to promote safety among others Excellent interpersonal skills to relate well with customers and team members Team player who is also capable of working independently Organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks High attention to detail Hardworking with a positive attitude towards work Additional Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Part-time Job functions: Management and Manufacturing Industries: Construction, Machinery Manufacturing, Truck Transportation Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Ritchie Bros. by 2x.
