Bayshore HealthCares Northern Staffing program has provided high-quality community health care solutions to Canada's North since 1997. Our Healthcare Professionals work closely with diverse Indigenous communities (First Nations, Inuit and Mtis), providing care to community members. We hire passionate team-members from all over Canada who travel on assignments to remote northern communities of British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. We provide a unique way to experience an expanded clinical scope of practice while enjoying an adventure at the same time! Average assignment durations vary from 2 to 6 weeks. The Work You Will Do Health Promotion, well baby / well mom programs, Immunization and community wellness programs Establish and promote education programs and/or campaigns (i.e. flu shot campaigns) within the community Work in a team atmosphere within an expanded scope of practice providing healthcare services to clients Utilize the skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching according to care plan Ensure that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent within the scope of practice Why Bayshore?
