In this role, you will lead Amazons Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) initiatives, ensuring compliance with local , regional , and federal regulations . About the role: Site EHS Manager As a Site EHS Manager at Amazon, youll partner with the Operations Team to implement WHS policies and ensure compliance with safety standards . Youll perform risk assessments , conduct WHS audits , and analyze incident trends to drive accountability and improve safety processes. This role requires a strong ability to influence change , build trust with leadership teams, and lead a team of WHS professionals. Youll also be responsible for training site leadership and associates , ensuring that all are knowledgeable of their safety responsibilities and that equipment and processes meet compliance standards. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with site leaders. Proven ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies. Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to solve problems. Preferred Qualifications: Distribution Center or Manufacturing EHS experience at a site with at least 250 people. Masters degree and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification. Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.
