They are seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their collaborative and fast-paced team in Calgary. The Role As an Architectural Technologist, you will contribute to the development of detailed drawings and construction documents, ensuring design accuracy and compliance with building codes. This role involves site visits, contract administration, and project coordination, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver successful projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare complete drawing sets for commercial and retail environments using AutoCAD and Revit. Research and apply zoning by-laws and building codes to ensure regulatory compliance. Collaborate with project teams to produce high-quality construction documents with minimal supervision. Conduct site visits to gather critical information and ensure design intent is met. Assist in contract administration and project coordination when required. Work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Communicate effectively with internal teams, consultants, and clients. What You Bring 1 to 6 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist, with a strong background in commercial projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for drafting and construction documentation. Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and commercial design standards. Experience working on commercial, retail, office, mixed-use, or hospitality projects. A portfolio showcasing elevations, floor plans, and section details in relevant project types. Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team-driven environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills for engaging with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
