Working under the supervision of the Kitimat Area Manager, the Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading the REEL Alesa presence in the area, supporting the local Alesa team, and reinforcing technical relationships with Alesa Montreals team to identify and materialize business opportunities for new projects, spare parts sales, and technical audits. The role of the PM is to be the leader and acting body for the activities in the Kitimat, British Columbia area. In continuous liaison with the Kitimat Area Manager and Montreal office (acting as support), the PM will execute the business development plan, work jointly to develop proposals, and provide services. General Show local Alesa presence in the Kitimat area where we have a high concentration of Alesa equipment installed base. Provide fast on the spot response and services to our clients inquiries, at a more reasonable cost to our clients (no travel fees, ability to respond immediately). Identify and develop business opportunities in services to our clients. Develop key contacts further in the area to understand our clients needs, the direction their business is taking, and stay informed of opportunities and future projects. Renew and develop contacts with the technical developments team of our key client (RTA Kitimat) with the intention to collaborate in their developments. In relation and collaboration with COH services, find synergies to increase overall REEL offerings, services, and business opportunities. Support our Montreal team in the execution of projects in the area. For Projects, when applicable Drive all phases of project management: resource planning, HSE planning, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, procurement, logistics, and fostering client relations. Convene with vendors on a global scale; negotiate prices, payment, and delivery to obtain the highest quality merchandise at the lowest purchase costs. Partner with engineering & design team and apply critical chain methodology to maximize profitability by coordinating efficient design. Maximize sales during project execution by identifying/creating opportunities for growth within the scope of works; this is always executed in a manner that fosters a win-win situation for all parties involved. Participate in monthly project steering committee meetings. Create value for our customers. For Site Works, when applicable Carry out the commissioning activities of the systems and equipment in conjunction with the client team and proceed to take corrective action if necessary to meet our contractual obligations. Troubleshoot equipment and systems on site to assist our clients and meet their expectations.
