Job Details Starting Hourly Rate: 23.00 Address: 2000 Airport Road NE Calgary AB T2E 6W5 New Hire Schedule: Open availability Employment Status: Full-Time Location: Calgary, AB Start Date: May 29, 2023 Responsibilities How you will make an impact Oversee production, lead a team, and maintain facility operations within the unit Supervise all H&S meetings and coordinate risk assessment completion Motivate and develop Team Leaders by setting individual and departmental objectives Identify skills gaps and initiate recruitment and training as appropriate Decide the daily departmental production plan with Team Leaders & Planning to meet service levels and outbound vehicle times Communicate cross-functionally to resolve operating problems and drive continuous process improvement Manage materials usage Ensure compliance with Compass policies and food safety standards Plan departmental labor usage to manage costs to targets Prepare the department for internal and external visitors Escalate and communicate Engineering issues to enable timely maintenance and target achievement Monitor and sustain site security and confidentiality About You Proven successful leadership of a production line or team Knowledge and experience of Good Manufacturing Practice Knowledge and experience of Best Management Practice Ability to obtain product knowledge Effective written and verbal communication, with strong numerical/data skills Compass Group Canada is committed to nurturing a diverse workforce representative of the communities within which we operate.
