Responsibilities Efficiently picks and assembles orders from various temperature areas with care to achieve timely delivery to customers. Packs orders with attention to detail including distinguishing between similarly named products, exact quantity, and correct product codes. Ensures products picked are of the highest quality (e.g., no damaged products, freshest product selection). Correctly documents and labels all orders through interpretation and understanding of pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels. Optimizes tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards. Balances fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and provides service including issue resolution. Maintains strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards, keeps work area clean, promptly cleans spills and debris, and ensures totes are clean before packing. Operates material handling equipment safely with safety pre-inspection checks completed before use. Demonstrates behaviors that support the organizations mission and core values. Participates in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to procedures, productivity standards, safety, and quality; demonstrates flexibility to meet daily delivery schedules.
