Job Description

Overview Join to apply for the Customer Supply Chain Associate - Bilingual role at IKO North America . Responsibilities Work closely with customers to handle day-to-day inquiries. Collaborate with sales, logistics, plants and production planners to manage and fulfill orders. Order management including monitoring, tracking and updating of shipping dates using multiple Excel spreadsheets including a comprehensive dashboard for daily actions. Order management including monitoring and updating of shipping dates and communicating updates/changes to internal and external customers. Responding to customer inquiries by phone and email. Develop strong customer relationships and address any concerns where possible, highlighting potential issues and solutions. Collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of orders. Preparing customer related reports and analyzing customer trends. May require some travel within North America. Utilize multiple systems for order entry and to verify customer orders for accuracy, load weight, pallet count, special considerations, etc. Our Ideal Candidate Bi-lingual (English and French) to serve Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic regions is required. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills. High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy of order entry and reports. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Must be able to contact customers over the phone and build long-term customer-centric relationships. Ability to problem solve and think outside the box. Good organization skills. Ability to handle a high volume of emails and orders. Strong/proven analytical skills. Practical experience with detail-oriented order entry, and detail-oriented research, face to face customer interactions. College or University degree/diploma in Business Administration or Operations/Inventory Control/Logistics/Supply Chain preferred. Prior experience with customer facing corporate supply chain roles preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Familiarity with JDE, Power BI and Salesforce is an asset.
