Join to apply for the 25/26-119E - Bus Monitor (VHF) role at School District No. 91 Nechako Lakes The successful applicant will be responsible for the enforcement of busing rules while the bus is in motion, working with the Driver to ensure all students are riding the bus in a safe and respectful manner. Key Responsibilities: Enforce busing rules while the bus is in motion Work with the Driver to ensure all students are riding the bus in a safe and respectful manner Ensure all students are safely seated and made to feel welcome when they arrive on the bus Support extra-curricular trips in addition to daily Curricular bus runs Familiarize yourself with the regulations and requirements for safe bus operations Qualifications: Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate) BC Drivers License Valid First Aid Basic Certificate (will be provided if needed) Experience working with youth in Grades K - 12 WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures Notes: This position is included in the Human Rights Hiring Exemption and is limited to applicants of Indigenous Ancestry.
