Purpose Pharmacy Assistants work with the Pharmacists and Registered Pharmacy Technicians to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy. Location: Ontario Medical Supply, Ottawa Reports to: Pharmacy Manager No. of Positions: 1 ATR: 4884 Type: Full time, Permanent Benefits: Yes Responsibilities Compounding Sterile Preparations in compliance with P&Ps and standards set by the company Calculate and supply clean room staff with ingredients that are required for compounding Labels final containers and packs orders for delivery Support pharmacists during the final check Calibrate, monitor, and maintain equipment inside and outside of the clean room Receive and place orders of medications, solutions and supplies on the shelves and maintain inventory Organize and maintain the work area inside and outside of the clean room Qualifications Completion of technical training required Knowledge of aseptic techniques is an asset Experience working in a clean room environment is an asset Skills High level of attention to detail, accuracy and productivity Reliability, strong communication, organizational skills, customer service, initiative, teamwork, sound judgement, interpersonal skills Commitment to high standards Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a faster pace environment Must have computer skills Human Resources While we thank you for your interest, only select applicants will be contacted regarding the position.
