Overview Join to apply for the Airport Baggage Handling Systems Project Manager role at AECOM . This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga, Canada. Major Responsibilities Act as on-site representative throughout the design and/or construction phases of the project's lifespan. Site inspections, meeting minutes, submittal reviews, functional testing, weekly reports, and specification compliance evaluations. Schedule and conduct internal team meetings and ensure that all scope and schedulecritical items are properly coordinated and tracked; coordinate actions with the Program Manager. Demonstrate strong client coordination skills, logistics planning, and a technical mindset. Qualifications Minimum Requirements A University Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or other relevant field of study + 6 years of relevant experience in the management and execution of Aviation Baggage Handling System projects. Experience with Baggage Handling Systems Improvement/Installation, Commissioning, and testing. Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered. Preferred Qualifications Understanding of baggage handling system design best practices and experience in real-world execution of alternative delivery projects. Knowledge of Autodesk Suite including BIM360, Revit, and AutoCAD is not required but is a plus. Working knowledge in multiple software programs including MS Word, Excel, MS Project, Adobe/Bluebeam, and Project Management software (Prolog, Procore, Newforma, Aconex, etc.).
