Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor Job NOC: 62020 Position Available: 1 Wage: $36.60 per hour for 40 hours/week Term of Employment: Full Time, Permanent Start Date: As soon as possible Work Location: 4065 6th Ave, Port Alberni, British Columbia V9Y 4M6 Job Requirements: Education: Completion of Secondary (high) school Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Team/Crew Leader/Trainer in a quick-service restaurant or food service operation. Job Descriptions: A restaurant supervisor is tasked with ensuring that a restaurant runs smoothly. Responsibilities include: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food Assist in the training of new employees as well as the continuous training of existing staff Estimate and order ingredients and supplies Ensure food service and quality control Organize and maintain inventory Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance Address customers complaints or concerns and provide excellent customer service Recruit, train and supervise staff Cuisine Specialties: Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian North Indian Food Work Setting: Restaurant Additional Skills: Problem-solving and conflict management skills Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment Attention to detail Standing for extended periods Physically demanding Personal Suitability: Reliability To apply, please email .
