In this role, you will: Provide support troubleshooting Victoria Class Submarine Weapons system defects. Assist in answering Task Assistance Requests raised by the Victoria Class Submarine Repair Facility. Provide assistance towards customer raised Minor Questions and Major Tasks. Participate in the development of innovative solutions to technical problems. Conduct onsite inspections/surveys of platforms physical conditions and verify boat-fit. Produce Engineering Documentation including job instructions, concessions and reports. Provide Technical Support to our Customers in an active shipyard environment across multiple Workfronts. The ideal candidate brings: 2+ years of relevant experience as a Mechanical or Weapons EIT is an asset. Demonstrated pragmatic problem-solving skills. Superior verbal and written communication skills, including writing formal reports, and making presentations. Graduated from a recognized institution with a mechanical or marine engineering degree and eligibility for licensing as an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) within your province. Effective computer skills including the MS Office suite. You have knowledge of the marine and military environment. Experience working in a shipyard and knowledge of shipyard safe work practices is an asset. You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security Clearance, Controlled Goods Program positively assessed, and ITAR Clearance.
