Overview Sr. Manager, Canadian Regional Global Trade Technical Manager (onsite) on-site role located at LOC13049 1400 South Service Road West, Oakville, Ontario, L6L 5Y7, Canada. This role contributes to the regional maintenance and continuous improvement of the Collins Aerospace Global Trade (GT) Technology Management (TM) program, driving GT procedures, the classification tool (xClass), and training for export and import classification of Collins products to the regional classifier focal network and businesses. What You Will Do Regional subject matter expert on export and import classification determination. Utilize Collins Aerospace procedures, work instructions, and tools to determine export and import classifications for Collins Aerospace products. Provide oversight and build the regional classifier focal network across multiple regional sites. Use classification performance metrics (data analytics) to evaluate regional classifier determinations and provide feedback. Support classification verification/escalation process for complex classifications. Develop regional standard work for extra-territorial controls. Support enhancement of regional classification decision trees and onboarding new classifier focals onto xClass. Collaborate with regional and global GT teams and participate in GT meetings. Travel to support business needs up to 10%. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 7 years. Experience applying both U.S. and Canadian export control classifications. Proficient in applying Harmonized System classifications. Qualifications We Prefer Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong computer skills with internal Collins Aerospace systems (e.g., SAP, Outlook, Microsoft 365). Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. RTX adheres to equal employment principles.
