Run Day Experience Lead - CIBC Run for the Cure - Saint John As a logistics leadership volunteer, you will be part of our organizing committees of 10 to 15 volunteers who will work over the months to help us organize our fundraising events. Depending on the needs in your community, available roles could include committee lead, logistics, community outreach, volunteer lead, and social media. The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run. This years event will be taking place on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Location: Saint John, NB Starting Immediately 0-1 hrs/month 1 Spot Available Suitable For: Adults (18+) Dates and Times This is a 6-month commitment (May through October). You will be required to attend local committee meetings (generally bi-weekly to monthly) and complete independent role work/responsibilities (approx. 4-6 hours per month, with increased workload in August & September). Must be available over the event weekend (October 4 & 5). Position Responsibilities As the volunteer Run Day Experience Lead, you will be responsible for: Securing an EMCEE to host the event. Booking a stage, Audio Visual, power, and all other logistics needed to give an exciting event experience. Creating a run of show and executing on event day. Finalizing event day script and ensuring opening ceremonies are executed without issue. Overseeing set up and teardown for stage and all other experience-related areas.
