Role Summary The AP Associate will be responsible to process accounts payable in accordance with company policies and industry best practices. Hybrid: 3 days in the office/ 2 days from home Accountabilities: Process accounts payable in a timely manner. Gather payable invoices via email, postal mail, and vendor portals. Perform three-way match on PO-based invoices. Coordinate manual approval on invoices not requiring purchase orders. Evaluate invoice approvals & receiving paperwork to ensure compliance with internal policies & audit requirements. Process invoices into payables in MS Dynamics NAV. Prepare weekly payment batches. Work with internal stakeholders to resolve issues that prevent invoice processing. Communicate with vendors as necessary (vendor liaison). Carefully adhere to all company policies, especially those related to security and fraud prevention. Make routine accruals and other entries at month-end. Administer the MasterCard reporting process (review and process the monthly statements, ensure adequate documentation to support expenses). Assist in gathering information for year-end and interim audits. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and with colleagues across the organization. Qualifications: Post Secondary Education in Accounting or related field preferred. Organized and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. High level of attention to detail. Proficient in Excel. Experience with ERP accounting software, preferably MS Dynamics NAV is an asset. Experience with SAP Concur is an asset. 2 years experience in Accounts Payable in a manufacturing environment.
