Market Data Specialist at Societe Generale Join to apply for the Market Data Specialist role at Societe Generale. This role is with Global Banking Technology & Operations (GBTO) Canada. The team aims to deliver day-to-day services to Socit Gnrale investment and corporate bank units and their clients to accelerate transformation, promote the technology and data culture, shorten decision-making, and adopt an industrial approach. Reference 25000HQA Responsibilities In this role, your day-to-day will include: Interactions with Front officers to understand business requirements related to market data capture (prices, rates, product descriptions) Interactions with teams from different countries (France, India, Morocco, USA and Hong Kong) to collect requirements from business partners, Front or Risk officers, or Auditors, and to develop expertise with other GBTO partners Collection, analysis, design and prioritization of business requirements from Front officers, Risk officers or Auditors to improve business processes and provide optimal delivery solutions End-to-end follow-up of solutions, including testing and post-delivery checks Required Profile Skills and Qualifications Must Have: Good knowledge of financial products (Fixed Income, Equities, Corporate Actions, etc) Familiar with Excel formulas for data management Experience in investment banking Experience with external vendors (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.) Competencies: Autonomous and Curious Rigorous Good communication Resilient under pressure Nice to Have: Experience with Front or Risk Officers Knowledge of VBA macros Languages: French and English Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
