We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Project Manager to join our Hotel Capital Management team in Banff for an 18-month contract. In this role, you will be a key member of the Hotel Capital Management Team responsible for capital reinvestment across our iconic Canadian Hotels portfolio. As a member of this team, you will: Report to Director, Hotels Capital Management Independently lead capital projects across Oxfords Western Canada hotel assets including The Fairmont Banff Springs, The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, and The Fairmont Chateau Whistler Assemble and lead multi-disciplinary design teams toward project objectives Assemble and actively maintain project budgets and schedules Coordinate project schedules with hotel operations teams to minimize revenue displacement and guest disruption Lead project design and coordination for permits, procurement, and construction Chair regular project meetings and distribute minutes/notes Prepare project commitments including POs, LOIs, Consultant Agreements, Construction Contracts, etc. Coordinate project close-out procedures including deficiency lists, manuals, training, etc. Track project costs and approvals in line with governance requirements Maintain and organize project files for active and future use Effective communication with Hotel Operations Teams, Brand Corporate Offices, Authorities, Project Consultants, and Contractors is essential. Provide regular project updates to the Director, Hotels Capital Management, and hotel asset management team. Maintain and build industry relationships and contribute to capital reinvestment plans aligned with hotel strategies. Participate in special projects as directed by the Director, Hotels Capital Management. To succeed, you will need: Strong project management fundamentals and 3-5 years of experience, PMP or similar designation preferred. Knowledge of interior design and construction, hotel/resort experience valued. Familiarity with facilities components and building systems. Ability to interpret technical drawings. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint. Understanding of hotel operations and core functions. Effective communication skills with stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Highly organized and process-oriented. Ability to work independently and in teams, embracing knowledge sharing. Results-driven with creative thinking. College diploma or undergraduate degree. Some travel required.
